Learning skills and Enhancing development for Children with
Autism Program

Leap is a program promoting social, communication, cognitive and adaptive skills in children with autism spectrum pattern. Targeted skills are developed through consultation with parents, and parents are provided with progress reports and strategies for carrying over skills to the home. The program is provided by therapists with specialized training in autism interventions with a strong focus on communication.

 

Strategies and Intervantions implemented throught the LEAP program include:

• Structured Teaching

• Discreet Trials (ABA)

• Picture Exchange Commnication System

• Alternative Communication Strategies

• Social Skills Training

• Incidental Teaching

• Traditional Speech Therapy
